API Method
The method analyzes large-diameter driven piles designed in offshore areas. The calculation of the vertical bearing capacity of the pile is performed according to the theory described in FHWA Standard GEC 012 - Design and Construction of Driven Pile Foundations - Volume I (July 2016), where all procedures are explained in detail.
The calculation results in a pile base bearing capacity Rb and a pile shaft bearing capacity Rs.
